Terms of Buck Service
All breeding is done on WMR’s property.
1. Does must come from healthy herds and be free of visible disease. All does must be up-to-date on shots and dewormings. We will not service does that appear sick, have lice or mites, are coughing, or have abscesses of any kind.
2. Prior to visiting, all does must have a negative test for CAE, CL, and Johne's Disease. (Disease tests should be no older than 30 days and must be on labs letterhead, we recommend UC Davis.)
We offer two types of breedings.
3. Stud fees vary based upon the individual buck. The appropriate stud fee is to be paid in cash only, prior to breeding, and there will be no refunds if the doe does not settle.
4. If doe does not settle and owner wishes to bring said doe back, we will offer a one time free re-breeding, if the doe has not come into contact with any other goats. If she has, we will require a new test for CAE, CL, and Johne's Disease.
5. Does with multiple teats, or teat defects, will not receive a service memo. (Kids can be used as milkers of course, but not registered). We reserve the right to refuse service to a doe for any reason we see fit.
6. All efforts will be made by the doe's owner to certify that she is able to conceive. This includes the observation of heat, blood work, or other diagnostic tools available to the veterinarian at the doe owner’s expense. The doe's owner is responsible for reporting any subsequent heats, following the breeding, to confirm pregnancy, or to refute it.
7. Owner will notify WMR’s Farm of offspring's numbers, weight, color, sex and eye color, for our buck records. We would also like, though do not require, to be informed of any show wins from said service breeding kids.
8. We cannot guarantee the future health of kids from serviced breeding. We cannot/will not guarantee the kids from service breedings will be of show quality, breeding quality or of a specific height.
9. We take care of our boarders as if they were our own, however, does owner is responsible for doe(s) and will not hold WMR's responsible for any illness or harm that might arise while doe is at White Mountains Ranch.
10. We reserve the right to accept cash only at time of Buck service. No personal checks or business checks will be accepted at any time.

We offer two types of breedings.
- Driveway breeding~ If your doe is easy to tell when she is in heat we can schedule a "driveway breeding". Our Nubians usually come into heat for three days, and the middle day is the ideal time when the doe is most receptive to being bred. If you bring a doe that absolutely will not stand for our buck, we will not force her, and will ask that you bring her back when she is receptive.
- Pen breeding~ You can opt to leave your doe for any extended stay to be bred several times. Does usually come into heat 21 days apart so we usually keep a doe for 3-4 weeks to make sure she "settled". Board for dry does is $3.00 per day, or $5.00 per day for does in milk. We currently milk once a day in the evening.
