Here at White Mountains Ranch we love our goats and keep a small herd of purebred pedigreed Nubians for our own milking and dairy needs, as well as selling extra babies for others who would like their own milking goats. We breed for temperament, conformation and milking ability. Our Nubians are kept on a diet of alfalfa, organic dairy goat grain, organic black oil sunflower seeds, organic flaxseed, kelp, and goat minerals. Additionally, our entire herd is tested for CAE, CL, and Johne's Disease each year. We have a 100% clean herd.
Lily is one of our few retained daughters from our Minyette line. We have been crossing different bucks on Minyette, trying to find a line that crosses well with her unique look. We bred her to Mongo this last year and Lily was the result. Lily was a very large baby and will be a large goat when she matures. Lily has the wow factor, and has been beautiful and stunning since the day she was born, unfortunately her beauty does not come across very well in pictures, but Lily is long, tall, and deep, with good angulation. We can't wait to see her freshen and hope that Mongo helps makes improvements in the udder department.
